Getting your Drupal site online after setting it to off-line

When you set drupal site to Off-line, there is no login at your site say www.myexample.com. This is to prevent your sites users from login as site is in maintenance mode.

So there are queries how admin can set site back to online mode after setting it to off-line.

Let’s quickly see how admin can do this.

Site was online as this

You can see login block here as the site is online

Now you set to offline for maintenance.

Now Site is offline as following

You can not see any login block, Site is offline. No user can login. But admin can login and set it back to online mode.

and Login as admin – yes your site admin user can login here.

You can see link saying “Operating in off-line mode” Click on the link to go on the page where you can set your site to online mode.

Now set it to online mode
